The Emergency Pharmacy Field Kit (EPFK) is a physician-directed emergency prescription medication kit: a curated supply of prescription antibiotics, antivirals, antifungals, and emergency medications, organized in a field case with a color-coded protocol manual, and dispensed only after a licensed provider reviews your medical intake and determines what is clinically appropriate for you.
Austere Medicine Consultants designs, assembles, and ships the kit and handles all non-clinical logistics. All clinical evaluation and prescribing is performed exclusively by licensed clinicians through AMC Medicine LTD, an independent physician-owned medical practice.
The EPFK is not an over-the-counter first aid kit and it is not a subscription. It is built for one purpose: giving prepared households, travelers, and teams legitimate, personally prescribed medications before an emergency — with the field protocols to use them responsibly.

From order to your door, we've made the process as streamlined as possible while maintaining the medical standards required for prescription medications. You are only charged for what a licensed provider prescribes.
When you place your order, an authorization hold is placed on your card for the kit price. No money is captured yet — the hold simply secures your order while the medical review happens.
You complete a quick online patient intake form covering your health history, current medications, and allergies. The process is straightforward and typically takes about 10 minutes from your device.
A licensed medical provider reviews your information within 2 business days and determines which EPFK medications are clinically appropriate for your health profile. Payment is not a prescription — prescribing decisions always remain with the provider.
The full kit is approved. The authorized amount is captured, and your complete EPFK ships: case, field manual, and organizational materials in one package, and your prescription medications shipped separately by the licensed pharmacy — both in non-descript, discreet packaging.
If a medication is not right for your health profile, the provider may substitute a clinically appropriate alternate. Where an item is removed instead, your charge is adjusted — the authorization is captured only for the adjusted amount, or the difference is refunded, depending on processing timing. You pay only for what is prescribed.
If the provider determines the EPFK is not clinically appropriate, no prescription is issued and you are not charged: the authorization hold is released (or refunded, depending on processing timing). Release timing on your statement depends on your card issuer — typically a few business days.
Important: The EPFK requires a valid provider consultation. This ensures you receive medications that are appropriate for your health profile and that you understand how to use them safely. Consultation and prescription fees are included in the purchase price. At launch, EPFK will be available to adult residents of all 50 states.

If part of the kit is not appropriate, an alternate may be substituted or your charge is adjusted; if the kit is not appropriate at all, your card authorization is released and you are not charged.
